Team Lead

We are a dental billing company looking for candidates who are eager, outside of the box thinkers to inspire and motivate team members in achieving daily and monthly goals. As a team lead, you will serve as the single point of accountability for the day-to-day management of the Team Members on your team and for the business, based on the utilization of the company mission.

 

Job Description

  • Create and maintain your schedule to ensure your team’s success.
  • Build rapport, develop team, train, and coach as needed.
  • Build positive relationships with clients to ensure a continued partnership
  • Maintain team budget for incentivizing and rewarding team members
  • Conduct Client Orientations
  • Proper posting of insurance payments
  • Reviewing insurance denials and actively working accounts for payment
  • Required adjustments taken on insurance payments
  • Accurate billing and queueing of patient statements
  • Accurate notation of patient accounts
  • Payor website utilization
  • AR reports worked diligently and routinely
  • Providing necessary information and documentation requested by insurance companies for claim payment
  • Sending insurance claims
  • Ensuring timely filing of all claims
  • Utilizing HIPAA guidelines at all times

Ideal Candidate

  •  A minimum of 2 + years of management or supervisory experience 
  •  A minimum of 2 + years billing and aging experience in dental billing
  •  Proficiency in dental software at least one of the following (Open Dental, Eaglesoft, Dentrix)
  •  Minimum High School Diploma, GED
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  •  Extensive knowledge of laws and regulations of dental coding and posting
  •  Knowledge of CPT coding, ICD 10 and ADA coding
  •  Knowledge of medical/dental terminology and billing
  •  Knowledge of government, commercial and third party payer regulation
  •  Maintain current status with Accounts Receivables
  •  Well-organized, clear communicator, diligent work ethic, and proficient computer skills
  •  Eye for accuracy and attention to detail
  •  Problem solving and analytical skills required 
  •  Strong communication skills
  •  Self- Disciplined and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks with a sense of urgency. 
  •  Must thrive in a fact pace environment
  •  Maintain job duties & responsibilities during company business hours Monday through Friday
  • Dental billing experience required, dental management experience preferred

Salary Range:

  •  $50,000-55,000 annual
